Creative Technologist — Audio / Design / UX

AfterQuery is building a research cohort of senior domain experts in creative technology, spanning audio, design and UX, to help evaluate how frontier AI models reason about hard, real-world expert-level problems. This is remote contract research-and-evaluation work at $135/hr, not production engineering: you define what "correct" and "excellent" look like on problems you already know deeply.

You will design realistic technical scenarios and problem sets within your track, author expert-level reference solutions and grading rubrics, and evaluate AI-generated outputs for correctness, depth and domain judgment.

Requirements: 6–10 years of experience in the media domain and a bachelor's degree (master's a plus); currently or recently active in the field, hands-on; strong written communication for technical explanations and structured feedback; comfortable with independent, asynchronous remote work. Preferred: publications, open-source contributions or recognized work in your track; experience reviewing or grading others' work; for this track, audio engineering, linguistics or multimodal design.
