Video Editor & Post-Production Expert (Remote, Contract, AI training) — AfterQuery via AI Gig Scout

AfterQuery, an expert data lab building evaluation and training data for frontier AI labs, is hiring video editors who work in Premiere, DaVinci Resolve and After Effects as independent contractors to evaluate video generation and demonstrate timeline workflows. Pay is $50 to $90/hr, set from your experience and paid weekly via Stripe. The work is fully remote and async, with a minimum of 10 hours per week and no maximum.

You will author realistic post-production scenarios from raw footage through final cut, write reference critiques explaining the editorial reasoning behind each cut (pacing, continuity, color and sound), grade generated video for continuity, pacing and motion quality, and demonstrate timeline and motion workflows the way working editors actually use them.

Requirements: 2+ years of professional video editing or post-production experience; hands-on depth in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut; a reel or portfolio of delivered work; clear written English; at least 10 hours per week. Preferred: motion graphics or 2D/3D animation in After Effects, Cinema 4D or Blender, color grading or sound design, and a broadcast, agency or high-volume social content background.
