Job Title: Assistant, Brand Partnerships and Ad Sync
A little bit about our team:
The Brand Partnerships and Advertising Sync Department is responsible for all outreach to brands and advertising/marketing/promotions agencies with the ultimate goal of aligning the artists and/or the label with branded campaigns and commercials.
Your role:
You’ll work in an exciting and fast-paced environment while learning the ins and outs of ad sync licensing, pitching, and brand partnerships. You will get to see firsthand how a major label operates and work with frontline recording artists from Warner Records.
Here you’ll get to:
Provide administrative support for the Department Head as well as the Department, including but not limited to scheduling team meetings, managing calendars, booking travel, processing expense reports, welcoming visitors, invoicing, mailings, etc.
Create and design digital e-blasts and marketing materials to be distributed to partners weekly
Compile and maintain the department’s asset library including various audio files, writer/publisher information and metadata, lyrics, artwork, etc. by coordinating with various departments including Marketing, Business Affairs, A&R, and A&R administration
Gather assets needed for pitches + blasts
Assist with compiling curated playlists for submitted requests, creative briefs, and proactive pitching
Know the Warner Records song catalogs as thoroughly as possible and keep current with all new signings, and songs
Research brands and ad campaigns and pitching for opportunities
Attend and take notes for the department in general artist meetings and brand meetings
Liaise with various internal departments to gather artist information
Coordinate ticket solicitations and communications for the department
Update and maintain the department’s contact and distribution lists, release schedules, rosters, internal reports, and various documents
Track upcoming music releases and coordinate advances for sync team
Attend marketing meetings and communicate key release/project info with the rest of the team
Help oversee, hire, and manage our internship program within the department
Represent the team and / or work brand events after hours at; concerts, showcases, listening events, mixers and other events on a regular basis
About you:
Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred
Highly organized and very detail oriented
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent at time management, has a robust work ethic, high attention to detail, and thrives in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
Creative problem solver who is proactive, strategic and analytic
Self-starter, self-motivated, and take responsibility/ownership of tasks
Detailed knowledge of Canva and DISCO
Experience in creating visually compelling reports and creative decks to convey key take aways in a professional and concise manner
Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to changing situations
Anticipate needs and create efficient and effective processes
Understands the need to handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information
Must be proficient with Google Workspace
Genuine lover of music sync, active concert goer, and fervent music listener
Must be open to attending events after office hours
We’d love it if you also had:
Previous industry experience in sync licensing, music supervision, or an administrative position in the entertainment Industry
A thorough understanding of sync licensing and publishing
A passion for music and entertainment
You enjoy going to concerts, making playlists and sharing music with friends
An understanding of how social media platforms are used to successfully promote commercial awareness
A natural affinity toward pop culture

Salary Range$17.95 to $22.00 HourlySalary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs.
