Job Expectations:

• Knowledge of construction safety practices
• Ability to work with a wide variety of students from 7th-12th grade
• The ability to work after school hours and at least 5 weekends per year
• Train and manage students using tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Manage all technical aspects of plays including: lighting, sound, construction, costumes and props
• Include as much student participation as is possible and safe in the building of a play
• Provide adequate supervision of students as they work on the various aspects of technical theater during practice and performances
• Order and/or purchase supplies as needed by working with the school’s accountant
• Work with the Drama Production Director to provide at least 2 theater productions, each with multiple viewing opportunities.
