Micro1 is looking for a highly skilled music transcription expert (~15 hrs/week, flexible schedule, 10 openings) at $50–$100/hr for an AI training project involving polyphonic audio analysis, SATB transcription, music notation, and Python. A typical task: separate soprano, alto, tenor, and bass lines from a mono recording and convert the performance into an exact MusicXML score. This is not a general audio-production or speech-transcription role.

You will transcribe polyphonic recordings into notation; identify pitches, onsets, durations, rests, and re-articulations; quantize to the correct rhythmic grid; apply key signatures, accidentals, and enharmonic spelling; generate or manipulate MusicXML; and use Python to analyze audio and automate parts of the workflow.

Requirements: strong Python; advanced ear training and polyphonic transcription; harmony, rhythm, voice leading, and notation; experience with SATB, choral arranging, or score preparation.
